Podcast theme music, written with you

Bespoke sonic branding for your idea. Your theme is the first thing people hear, so it should be as recognisable as your logo.

Why bespoke

A sound that belongs to your show

Free jingle libraries are cheap, and that's why lots of shows end up opening with the same track. Yours is written for you, from scratch.

We write and record it ourselves, the same way we make our own records, so it fits the story you're telling and the person telling it.

How it works

Made together, in four steps

  1. You send what you like

A playlist, and podcasts whose sound you admire.

  2. We send back ideas

Short musical sketches written for your show.

  3. We shape it together

Until it fits your style and your brand.

  4. You speak over it

Your voice and your theme, opening every episode.

What you get

More than a jingle

Your theme tune

An original piece of music for your show, yours to use on every episode.

A version to speak over

Mixed so your voice sits clearly on top when you introduce the show.

Transitions and stings

Short sounds made from the theme, to move between sections and keep long conversations moving.

Intro and outro, finished

Your opening and closing put together and ready to drop into each episode.

Questions

Theme music: common questions

Can I be involved in making the music?

We'd like you to be. You send references, we send ideas, and we shape it together until it feels like your show.

What if I don't know what I want?

That's fine. A playlist of music you love and a couple of podcasts whose sound you admire is enough to get started.

Can I have theme music without the full start-up package?

Yes. Theme music is available on its own, for new shows and for existing ones that want a fresh sound.
